- Beeston Pub crawl
Wednesday 10th May 2017
Beeston Pub crawl - 5 pubs with over 45 beers to choose from.
Meet at New Street Station on the platform to catch the 1149 to Nottingham. Please let Steve Dyson ku.oc.oohay@2591nosyd_evets know if you are going.
Next to Beeston Station brings is the Victoria Hotel, A longstanding GBG entry. With 16 beers on handpump and food this large rambling pub is a must for any CAMRA member visiting Beeston. A short walk will then bring us to the Crown a Grade 2 listed building with a historic interior. Now owned by Everards, it has 14 beers on tap. No food here I am afraid. On then to the Pottle of Blues, Beestons first micro pub with 5 beers. From here we shall visit Beeston's newest micropub, Totally Tapped with 5 beers. On then to The Star with 10 beers on handpump. This former Shipstones pub is a fitting end to our lunch/early evening session. Food is available here. Back to the Victoria if we need to while away the time before getting the train back to Birmingham.
