Once again, Martin Buck is organising a Real Ale Ramble as the branch August social. On Saturday 13th August we'll meet at Lapworth railway station (or on the train), and then do an easy walk taking in the Navigation, Fleur de Lys, Tom o'the Wood, Rowington Club, Orange Tree, Black Boy, King's Arms, Red Lion and KDCC before heading to Dorridge station, where there will be the option of a final drink in either the Forest or Station Cafe Bar. Depending on progress, we may drop one (or more) of the Black Boy, King's Arms and Red Lion.

Train timings: the 11:43 from Solihull, 11:53 from Dorridge arrives at Lapworth at 11:58. If you're travelling from Olton, take the 11:29 southbound and change at Solihull. Based on those timings, I suggest lunch in either the Navigation or Fleur de Lys.
